Locatie: JADS - Academy of Data Science
St. Janssingel 92, 5211 DA  's-Hertogenbosch

Strategic thinker and hands-on entrepreneur

She has a Master in Business Administration and over 15 years of strategic consulting and interim management experience. Margot has worked for large national and international companies such as Rabobank, Allianz, Achmea, KPN and Eneco, helping them with their commercial, digital and data strategies. But her heart goes out to sports and movement. In her role as a strategic advisor and interim manager she has helped a diverse range of sports companies, foundations and governmental organizations in their mission to increase sports and movement participation.

In 2022 Margot was asked to join the Sport Data Valley team to bring the concept of the ‘data infrastructure for sports and movement’ to the next level. Sport Data Valley is a Sportinnovator initiative brought to live by a consortium consisting of the University of Twente, Leiden University, the Hogeschool of Amsterdam, The VU Amsterdam and the TU Delft.

Sport Data Valley has now grown into the national data infrastructure for sports and movement; in research, education and practice. Sport Data Valleys products and services help in generating more data, safe data storage, privacy proof sharing of data and data analysis and science. Since 2023, Sport Data Valley is an independent foundation, partly funded by the Dutch government. That makes that the facilities are open for usage and free of charge. Margot is now managing director of Sport Data Valley.

During her presentation, Margot will tell more about the different opportunities Sport Data Valley has to offer in preventive healthcare.
